Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 27, 2026

VisitLion is a product of Catelleon Solutions, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information across the visitlion.com website, any VisitLion-powered itinerary builder or destination site operated by a licensed tourism-office customer, and the VisitLion back-office platform used by customer staff, together the "Service."

If you are a tourism-office customer, this Policy works together with the data-handling terms in our Terms of Service. If your own organization has separate public-records or data-retention obligations under Texas law, those obligations are yours to manage; this Policy describes what Company does with the data as the platform provider.

1. Information We Collect

From visitlion.com visitors and demo requesters: name, work email, phone, job title, organization name and type, city/destination, current website, launch timeline, funding path, and any notes you submit through our demo request form.

From itinerary-builder end users: the choices you make while building an itinerary, such as interests, stops, and preferences you select; if you choose to save, print, or email your itinerary, the contact information you provide for that purpose; and technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and referring URL, collected automatically via cookies and analytics as you use the tool. We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information simply to use the itinerary builder.

From tourism-office and business-listing staff: login credentials, the business or destination listing information you manage, and your usage of the analytics and reporting dashboard.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information above to operate and provide the Service, respond to demo requests and inquiries, generate the impressions/click/choice analytics and reporting that a tourism-office customer sees for its own destination, maintain and improve VisitLion across all customers in de-identified or aggregated form, send service-related communications, send marketing communications where permitted with an opt-out always available, and meet legal obligations.

3. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with service providers who host or support the platform under confidentiality obligations; with the tourism-office customer operating the specific destination site, in the form of usage and analytics data tied to that destination; and with law enforcement or regulators where required by law. No information is shared with third parties for their own independent marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Cookies and Analytics

The Service uses cookies and similar technologies to remember itinerary-building progress, analyze how the tool is used, and generate the analytics tourism-office customers rely on. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit some itinerary-builder functionality, including the ability to save progress.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information collected through the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain visitor interaction and analytics data for as long as reasonably needed to provide reporting to the relevant tourism-office customer and to improve the Service, and demo-request/marketing contact information until you ask us to delete it or opt out. When a customer license ends, we retain that customer's listing and analytics data only for the export period described in our Terms of Service, after which it may be deleted.

7. Third-Party Links

The itinerary builder and back-office platform may link to local businesses' own websites and other third-party destinations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the itinerary builder or otherwise. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

9. Your Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time. Tourism-office staff seeking export or deletion of their organization's platform data should refer to the process described in our Terms of Service.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, with the Effective Date above updated accordingly.
